Industrial Gloss Polyurethane


RHINO TWO-PART URETHANE is a high gloss, acrylic polyurethane coating. Comprised of high solids, this two-part urethane coating provides superior weathering and high quality color retention. It is may be tinted to virtually any color. RHINO URETHANE is classified as an industrial urethane coating, designed for harsh environments. Additionally, it offers outstanding resistance to acids, stains and chemicals. RHINO URETHANE is a flexible coating that maintains durability with structure movement.


Use RHINO URETHANE as the finish coat on properly prepared interior or exterior surfaces including:
-Steel & concrete tanks
-Block walls
-Rail cars
In addition, RHINO URETHANE offers Graffiti Removal of spray paint (100% removed with Ketone solvent.)


Do not use for water immersion. Maximum continuous temperature (dry) 200°F (93°C).


A clean dry surface is required for application. Ensure surface is free of oil, grease, mildew and debris. Power-wash with detergent and chlorine when necessary. May be applied directly to commercially blasted steel (SSPC-SP 6). PRIMERS: For surface rust, prime with RHINO RUST BOND EPOXY PRIMER or RHINO MASTIC EPOXY. RHINO URETHANE is compatible with most epoxy primers and epoxy coatings. The product may be recoated with itself.


BLEND RATIO: One part Urethane activator to eight parts
RHINO URETHANE. Power agitate until components are thoroughly mixed. POT LIFE: 2 hours at 80°F.
STORAGE TEMPERATURE: Minimum 20°F, Maximum 110°F.


AIRLESS SPRAY: Use .015-.017 tip, 60 mesh filter, 30:1 pump ratio at 60-100 psi operating air pressure.
ROLL: Use short nap cover. Additional coats may be required to achieve desired film thickness.
BRUSH: Use natural bristle brush. Additional coats may be required to achieve desired film thickness.
COVERAGE: Each coat should be applied between 3 to 4.5 mils wet (425 sq/ft per gallons average). Each coat should dry to 2.0-3.0 mils. Spread rate will depend upon the surface profile. Rough surfaces will require more product than smooth surfaces.
TEMPERATURES: Temperature must be above 40° F with a maximum of 120° F. Temperature must not drop below 40° F within two hours of application. Substrate temperature must be at least 5°F above the dew point for two hours after application to avoid condensation on wet paint. Store product in a protected space and under 110° F. Do not freeze. Shelf Life of 18 months at recommended storage temperatures.
